This month's Democratic Alliance for Action meeting will be on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00. The meeting will be at Vincenzo's Pizza at 7:00. The address is 24504 Lyons Ave  Newhall, CA 91321. Come early to socialize. Doors open at 5:45 PM. The meeting will address the following topics.

 

Bylaws changes

Voting members are invited to come vote on proposed changes to the bylaws. 

 

City Council elections

Come share your thoughts about the upcoming City Council Elections.  

 

Endorsements

Voting members will vote on the following candidates' endorsements.   

• Steve Fox* (Candidate for Assembly - 36th Assembly District)
• Edward Headington (Candidate for Assembly - 36th Assembly District)
• Star Moffatt* (Candidate for Assembly - 21st Senate District)
• Fran Pavley (Candidate for Senate - 27th Senate District)
• Lee Rogers (Candidate for Congress - 25th Congressional District) 

Candidates marked with a * are confirmed to attend the meeting.

   

Elections 

Several DAA members are running for election to the Los Angeles County Democratic Central Committee. Each candidate in attendance will be given time to talk about his/her candidacy.

 

Field trip to Bill Maher Show 

Joyce Evans is organizing a field trip to the Bill Maher Show on Friday, April 27th. She will explain all the details at this month's meeting.
